Born on October 20, 1915 to Nathaniel and Mary Buchholz in North Dakota. He married Mary Mulcahy on April 26, 1941. He served in the Army in World War II.
Albert and Mary operated a restaurant in Quinn, SD, before they moved to Rapid City in 1950. He was employed as a carpenter for the Garland Construction Company in addition to being an independent contractor.
He and his wife, Mary, perished together.
He was survived by one daughter and several brothers and sisters.
Buried in the Black Hills National Cemetery with his wife.
