He was employed as a manager at a vending machine company. The Bauch family moved from Oklahoma City to Rapid City one year before the flood.
He and his wife, Valerie, perished when hit by a wall of water while in their car. He was survived by one son, one daughter, his parents, and two sisters.
Buried in the Burkburnett Cemetery, Texas.
