Description

Leo Frances Kreber was born November 26, 1912 to George Kreber and Pearl Felton, in Gregory South Dakota. His father died in 1933 and his mother moved the family to Rapid City. He was employed by the Blessed Sacrament Parish.
Leo married Dorothy Gepford January 3,1939 in Rapid City, she died in 1954. He married Lenora Curry Litch ,December 17,1964 in Rapid City. Leo worked for the City of Rapid City Street Department from 1955 until his death, they lived on Minnilusa street on Rapid Creek in back of Baken Park.

On the night of June 9, Leo and Lenora were watching TV and decided they should leave their house but were swept away as they attempted to start the car. Lenora survived by hanging on to a power line.

He is survived by his wife Lenora of Rapid City, and his children Edward Kreber of Maxwell Nebraska,: David Kreber of Coloma California, Beverly Morey of Sacramento California and Marilyn Welter of Peteluma California.

Also 3 step chidren Dalton and Doug Litch of Illinois and Beverly Crisman of Buffelo Gap SD. Two brothers Raymond Kreber of Sundance Wy and Louie Kreber of Rapid City. Three sisters Lorena Getz of Sturgis, Idella Jones of Lotus California and Vivian Most of Coloma California.

He was predeceased by a brother Lawrence who died in 1939 while logging in the Black Hills.

Burial will be in ST Aloysius Cemetery in Sturgis SD.
