Description
Grace Agnes Maclennen Keiser born 25 Oct 1895 at Grand Island NE to William Mclennen or MacLennen and Mary Hogg. The family moved to Rapid City about 1906, where her father was a tailor. Her mother died in 1927 and her father in 1949. She married Alonzo Keiser October 20,1922. He was a printer in Wasta for the Rapid City Post Office, and owned a Grocery Store at 515 ST Joe Street. Alonzo died in 1965 in Denver, he was a Veteran of World War I and past commander of Legion Post 22 in Rapid City.
Survivers include two sons Merlin of German Town Pennsylvania and Paul Keiser of Rapid City adaughter Jean Ann Snyder (William A) of Lima Ohio. One sister Helen Ernst of Davenport IA, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Duncan, Andrew, and Henry. Grace was a member of Eastern Star. She lived on Chapel Lane in West Rapid.
