Born Sept 26, 1949 to Floyd and Muriel Miller Towner in San Antonio TX . He graduated from Smethport Area High School. He was employed by the local Market Basket store and Johnson's Christmas Display Store.
He married Sheriyn Cronlger on November 6, 1968 in Potsville NY.
He joined the Air Force October 6, 1967, he was an Air Force Police Sgt, he served from Pennsylvania in Vietnam.
He is was survived by his wife and parents, and a brother Kent J Towner in Smethport PA, his paternal grandparents Mr and Mrs Floyd Towner of Ormsby PA and his paternal great grandfather Roy Miller of West Eldred and his maternal step grandmother Mrs Roy Miller of West Eldred PA.
He is buried Rosehill Cemetery Smethport PA.
In December of 1972 Mr and Mrs Floyd Towner received on behalf of their son Brand, the Air Force Medal from the Commander of the 15th Air Force at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City.
