My sister Goldie was 9 months pregnant - held on to a tree for a few hours until help came. She immediately was taken to the hospital where she gave birth. I used to live with her and her husband, Goldie and Jim Standing Bear, and she commented "good thing you and your baby (6 mos. old) moved away - you might have drowned."
