Our home was not affected. My brother called at 6:30 A.M. to ask if we were all right - our first news of a flood. My daughter was in St. John's hospital and I walked many blocks to her. National Guard trucks had many injured people on back of their trucks. My daughter got little care because of all the emergencies. I "waited" on her and washed her sheets, nightgown, etc. as hospital was lacking staff.
