Description
Ralph was born Aug 27,1934 in Ashville OH to Arthur Sampsill and Clara Swank Sampsill his mother survives him in Ohio. Ralph went into the United States Army July 30,1954 and served in Korea, as a Sp 3 in the Military Police.
He married Marline Haveman in about 1960, they were parents of three children, Ralph Jr who survives and Bill and Michael who died with their parents in the flood.
Ralph was a pipefitter for NW Pipe Fitting.
Mr and Mrs Sampsill are in the 1968 City Directory living in the Jackson Park area where they died in their home.
Ralph was survived by a brother Bruce in Asheville Ohio. Also surviving is a son Ralph Sampsill Jr of Rapid City.
