Description
Gayle Lynn Nemeti was born February 23, 1955 in Ohio to Frank Nemeti and Evelyn Steely.
She was a Senior at Stevens High School having just completed her Junior year, she lived with her mother at 822 Taylor. They had lived in Rapid City since the mid 1960's.
On the night of the flood she was out with friends and the car was swept away about where McDonalds is now on West Main St, two in the car died.
She was remembered for the pink motor bike she road around town and was the first girl to enter the Auto Mechanics classes at Steven's High School.
She is survived by her father, and mother Mrs Evelyn Thompson of Rapid City.
